PIXELRIPPER

For parents and carers

What your child sees here

Pixelripper's games are free to play and made for kids through teens. Here's exactly how ads, payments and data work.

Ads

Riptide: at most one short ad per game you play, after the Tide 2 boss, and never more than one every three minutes. Never during play, never when the page opens, and no "watch an ad for a reward" offers.

Rock Pool: Rock Pool can show short ad breaks, but its ads are switched off for now. When they're on, there's at most one ad break after you solve the day's Daily puzzle, shown before your stars appear. In Practice and Last 7 days there's at most one break for every three puzzles you solve. There's never an ad in the middle of a puzzle, never after the first puzzle of a visit, and never on the title screen. There are no "watch an ad to get a reward" ads. Ads are marked as child-directed, so they aren't personalised. Buying "No ads" for Rock Pool (A$2) or the all-games pass removes them on that device.

Across the site:

  • One labelled banner on the home page, below the Play buttons.
  • Every ad request is marked child-directed, so Google turns off personalised ads and remarketing and applies its ad protections for children.
  • If an ad blocker stops the ads, the games work exactly the same.

Remove ads

There's no need to buy anything: every game here is free to play with a small number of ads. If you'd rather have no ads, you can pay once to remove them in one game, or in every game with the all-games pass.

Privacy in one paragraph

No accounts, no chat, no analytics. Each game stores your child's progress (such as a high score), settings and ad choice on your device only. Ads come from Google with child-directed treatment. If you buy a Remove-ads option, Stripe handles the payment and we receive the payer's email address and the payment record. Full details: Privacy.
